There are thirty-six images, rectangle in form, representing individual portraits of public telephone boxes. These telephone boxes stand totally abandoned, unused with only rare signs of human life.

Once these telephones were an important part of communication, which offered shelter and some privacy from the world, however they now lie dormant. Their brightly coloured tops which once attracted the attention of many, now go completely unnoticed even in the centre of town. These days devoting your full attention to whom with which you are speaking is much to taxing, now performing many actions and talking to someone as an afterthought is socially acceptable, rendering these great monoliths redundant.
